- Open the MQL4 folder and paste the files for experts, scripts, and indicators into the corresponding folders (Expert Advisors, Scripts, Indicators).

If your EA is an .exe file, save it to your remote desktop and contact Support for further assistance.
Restarting the VPS
Restarting the VPS can help in the following cases:
- VPS is slow
- EA has been installed but isn’t working
- Other VPS issues
Restarting the VPS operates like rebooting the virtual computer.
Note: When the VPS is restarted, new order requests, order modifications, and order cancellations will not be possible from Terminals installed on the VPS. Open orders will remain active, and Expert Advisors will continue to run.
Note: To prevent the loss of trading information when restarting the VPS, disable any auto-trading settings and enable them after the reboot is completed, or monitor the running status of Expert Advisors.
To restart your VPS from your Personal Area:
- Log in to your Personal Area.
- Click Settings left-hand menu.
- Open the Virtual Private Server tab.
- Click Reboot and then confirm the reboot action.
- The VPS server will now reboot.
To restart your VPS while logged in:
- Click on Start (Windows icon).
- Click on the power button and choose Restart.
Deleting the VPS
When you delete your VPS all user data, including Expert Advisors, are cleaned from the system. This process is irreversible, but can prove useful as a factory reset.
Deleting the VPS reverts the virtual computer back to its default setting but it remains available for you to use; you will not need to reapply for Exness VPS when it is deleted in this way.
- Log in to your Personal Area.
- Click Settings left-hand menu.
- Open the Virtual Private Server tab.
- Click the gear icon, and then select Delete Server.
- Confirm that you want to delete the server.
Changing the VPS language
In order to change the language setting of your VPS, you must follow the steps to delete the VPS (shown above); please note that your user data and settings of your virtual computer will be lost if the VPS is deleted. Once deleted, follow the steps to apply for Exness VPS and choose the new language setting when presented.
If you do not qualify for the VPS, please contact Support to help manually change the language of your VPS.
