A trading terminal is an application or platform used to trade the instruments Exness offers. It is key to know the various advantages that each trading terminal features, so that choosing the right one for you is easy.
An example of a trading terminal is MetaTrader 5 (MT5), one of the most popular CFD trading platforms in the market developed by MetaQuotes Software.
Follow the link to find out more about the MetaTrader platforms available.
Note: If you open a MetaTrader 4 account, you won’t be able to use MetaTrader 5 with your MT4 login and vice versa. If you want accounts for both MT4 and MT5, you’d have to open separate trading accounts for them.

Exness Trade Mobile Terminal
The Exness Trade App features more than a mobile trading terminal. You can add new accounts and manage existing Exness accounts, check technical analysis, use the Investment Calculator, trade on the go, and more.
TradingView charting features are also available on the Exness Trade App, where you can benefit from over 100 indicators, drawing tools, and color settings.
We encourage downloading the Exness Trade app for a compact and comprehensive CFD trading experience.
Exness Terminal
If you prefer trading from your browser, the Exness Terminal is for you. Specifically for MT5 trading accounts, it’s our custom-built, browser-based MT5 terminal. It does not require any download or installation to utilize and is easily accessible from your Exness Personal Area.
Integrated within the Exness Terminal, you can customize TradingView charting and indicator templates and view TradingView price scales.
Desktop Terminals
The MetaTrader Desktop terminals can be downloaded onto your PC or laptop. One of the benefits of using a desktop platform is that you’ll have access to a much wider range of trading tools including custom Expert Advisors and analytical tools. Both MetaTrader 5 and MetaTrader 4 are available for Windows, macOS, and Linux users.

MT4/MT5 WebTerminal
When trading with both MT4 and MT5 trading accounts, the MT4/MT5 WebTerminal can accommodate these requirements. The MT4/MT5 WebTerminal is a browser-based trading terminal that does not need installation and can be conveniently accessed within a browser.
It supports basic trading features similar to desktop versions of MT4 and MT5, which makes it a suitable choice for those starting to trade.
MetaTrader Mobile Terminals
MetaTrader also provides mobile platforms designed for on-the-go trading. All that is required is an internet connection and the MT4 or MT5 mobile app.

MT4 Multiterminal
If you have been trading with MT4 trading accounts, the MT4 MultiTerminal is designed to manage up to 128 real MT4 trading accounts simultaneously, although it does sacrifice some features to allow this such as the inability to view instrument charts.
This trading terminal is not recommended for general consumption as it serves a very specific purpose.
