At Exness we work hard to deliver the highest levels of security possible so that you can manage your accounts and trade with peace of mind. Here are some of the security features in place for Exness accounts.
Your security type is chosen during the registration process and is a measure put in place to prevent unauthorized access to your trading accounts.
There are two security types: Phone and Email.
Only one security type is active at any one time, and Phone is set by default when you verify a phone number upon registration.
- Phone (high security)
When Phone is set as your security type, we will send a code to your registered phone number whenever you request a withdrawal, change your trading password, etc.
Enter the unique SMS code in the verification field to confirm your request.
- Email (low security)
When email is set as your security type, an email containing a unique confirmation code will be sent to the email address registered to your Exness account. You then simply need to enter the code when prompted.
If you verify a phone number as your high security type (Phone) during registration, you can still switch to the low security type (email) but only within 30 days from the date of registration; thereafter it is not possible to switch from the high security type to the low security type.
Requests requiring verification are:

A secret word is an alphanumeric combination that is created automatically for your Exness account, and is provided to you the first time you contact Support. The secret word is very important to remember and keep secure, as it cannot be changed by any means whatsoever and is required by Support to verify your identity.
The secret word is only used for verification when contacting Support, and is not related to your trading account password, or security type verification code.
