The Personal Area, often referred to as the PA, is the central hub of account management. One PA is created when an Exness account is registered. This article will explore the PA, highlighting some critical functions and useful features.
To log in:
- Visit the Exness website.
- Click Sign In.
- Enter your Exness registered email address, and Exness account password.
- Click Continue to log in.

Features menu
The features menu is located at the top of the PA, including a number of important features:
Balance manager
The balance manager will display the current collective free margin of all trading accounts. Clicking this feature will open a dropdown that lists various accounts including the Bitcoin wallet, investment wallet and/or partner wallet (if activated).
Click Transfer or Withdraw to initiate these transactions from the Withdrawal tab.
Language
Reflects the chosen language across the PA.
Information
The information menu will bring up a number of links to resources including Tools & Services, Trading, and Help. Clicking any option here will open up a new window with more information.
Grid menu
The grid menu will display features and services available to your Exness account. Some options are only available once that service is activated.
This is the most direct way to open the Exness Terminal, though selection of a supported trading account is recommended once open.
Notification
Account notifications are selectable by clicking the bell icon. Selecting a notification may open a related section of the PA. Once a notification has been selected, it will no longer be shown in the notifications area.
Profile
The profile icon brings up the Exness account owner’s profile name, and a portion of the registered email address. Settings open the profile settings, Trading Conditions lists the currently active Exness trading features for this account.
Select Sign Out here to completely log out of your Exness account.
My accounts
The My Accounts tab houses all the trading accounts created by this Exness account. A number of features here are helpful to remember. Trading accounts are sorted into 3 tabs: Real, Demo, and Archived.
- Real: active trading accounts that use real funds.
- Demo: active demo accounts that use virtual funds.
- Archived: real trading accounts that have been manually or automatically archived.
The sort dropdown displays these tabs by newest, oldest, free margin, or nickname (in alphabetical order). This area can also be shown in list view or grid view; some account options appear differently based on the view selected.
The Open New Account button begins the process of creating a new trading account.
Trading account cards
Each trading account will be shown as a card here, with a number of options to choose from.
The trading account card displays the following information:
- Real/Demo: which type this account is.
- MT4/MT5: which platform supports this account.
- Account type: from account types offered by Exness.
- Nickname: either the default name, or created nickname of the account.
- Account number: a string of numbers that represent the trading account (used as the login for trading platforms).
Options
Trading account options are accessed by clicking the 3-dot icon to bring up a menu. Importantly, the trading account login and trading server are located under the Account Information item.
Deposit
The Deposit tab presents the payment methods available for your trading accounts based on the registered region. Each payment method displays its projected processing time, fee, and minimum/maximum deposit limit.
A Recommended tag means this method has a high rate of success in your registered region.
Some payment methods can be taken offline for routine maintenance, so confirm current availability in the PA. Successful deposit methods are shown under My saved methods.
My saved methods
Saved deposit methods have the trading account number, full name, and account currency already entered when used.
Remove a saved method by clicking the 3-dot menu and selecting Delete. Not all saved methods will have the option to delete, and deleted methods cannot be restored unless successfully used again.

Withdrawal
The Withdrawal tab presents the withdrawal methods for your trading accounts based on the registered region. Each withdrawal method shows its projected processing time, fee, and minimum/maximum withdrawal limit.
A Recommended tag means this method has a high rate of success in your registered region.
If there are any pending bank card refunds to be made (as outlined in our general rules for withdrawal), these will be displayed at the top of this area. Successful withdrawal methods will be shown under My saved methods.
My saved methods
Saved deposit methods have the trading account number, full name, and account currency already entered when used.
Remove a saved method by clicking the 3-dot menu and selecting Delete. Not all saved methods will have the option to delete, and deleted methods cannot be restored unless successfully used again.

Internal transfers
To transfer funds between trading accounts in your Personal Area, or from a trading account in your Personal Area to a trading account in a different Personal Area, select from the following options at the bottom of the Withdrawal tab:
- Between your accounts: between trading accounts in the same PA.
- To another user: to a trading account in a different PA.
To transfer funds to a trading account in a different PA, you will need the trading account number and registered email address of that user or the transfer will not be completed.

Transaction history
The Transaction history tab will list every transaction that is made in your Personal Area, including:
- Deposits: include the method used with your trading accounts.
- Withdrawals: includes the method used with your trading accounts.
- Transfers: includes the trading accounts involved in the transfer.
- Refunds: bank card refunds are included here.
- Rewards: the commission charged for some account types (Raw Spread, Zero).
- Rebates: payouts processed through the rebates system.
The results in Transaction history can be filtered to show a specified time period. Select a time period to display, transaction type, the status of the transaction, and trading account. The results are filtered as you make your selection.
The status of a transaction type can be displayed as:
- Done: the transaction was completed.
- Processing: the transaction is not yet complete.
- Rejected: the transaction was canceled (reason may vary).
Transaction tracking
Clicking any item in the transaction history brings up a detailed summary of the transaction, including the invoice ID (important for Support queries on specific transactions).
The timeline of the transaction is shown as a series of events that may differ based on whether it is a deposit or a withdrawal.

In the event of a query of a transaction, contact Support with the invoice ID and identity verification.
Any number of the following events may result in the transaction being canceled by the payment provider or Exness:
- The transaction timed out. Please try again later or use another payment method.
- The operation is temporarily unavailable. Please use another payment method or try again later.
- The transaction was canceled due to an incomplete transfer form or connection failure. Please try again or use another payment method.
- A temporary bank processing error. Please try again later or use another payment method. If the issue persists, kindly contact your bank.
- A temporary processing error. Please try again later or use another payment method.
- A card transaction error. Please make sure the provided card details are correct and try again. If the issue persists, please contact your card issuer or use another payment method.
- Your bank account has insufficient funds. Please top up your account and try again.
- You can filter your accounts using the All accounts tab. If you are unable to see this filter, your accounts have no transactions.
Analytics
The Analytics tab houses market news and analysis provided by Trading Central in Analyst News and FXStreet News in Market News respectively. A link to the Economic Calendar is hosted here, where events that may result in periods of higher margin requirements (HMR) are collected for your convenience.
Analyst News
The stories here are provided by Trading Central, and separated by trading instrument groups. These stories can be sorted by using the filter tools at the top by ideas (topics), timeframe, and trends. The search bar below these tools can also be used to find stories.
Clicking any story will open its content to the right of this feature.
Market News
FXStreet News curates current and trending news articles relating to trading. Tags can be used to filter out which articles are presented, and clicking an article will expand it.
Portfolio Management
The Portfolio Management tab is where Portfolio Managers will sign up and/or manage their accounts. This tab is only displayed if this Personal Area if Portfolio Management is available in your region. Follow any of the links below for in-depth information about Portfolio Management.

Social Trading
The Social Trading tab is the management platform for strategy providers where strategies can be made and/or managed; archived strategies will also appear in this area. Performance
The Performance tab is where the collected data about your trading is housed for you. You can see the overall performance of your Personal Area (all trading accounts) or specify from your active trading accounts.
The Performance tab is separated into: Summary, History of Orders, and Exness Benefits.
Summary
Select a trading account for the summary (all accounts by default) from the dropdown menu and the timeframe from the predefined selection.
A number of datapoints and a chart are generated as these are selected. Hover over a datapoint’s information icon for a description.
The chart will show profit and loss, and can be changed to display:
- Net profit
- Closed orders
- Trading volume
- Equity
Real-time statistics can be seen in your trading platform; only closed orders are shown in this chart.
History of orders
Select a trading account to see its comprehensive order history, divided into Closed orders and Open orders. A customizable time period can be set so that only orders from this selection are displayed.
Download CSV creates a notepad file with the order history of the current selection.
Clicking any item in Closed orders will expand to show more information; Closed by notes how the order was closed and includes a stop out summary in the case of stop out.
Exness benefits
This tab is only shown if it is available in your region, and lists when Exness-exclusive benefits have saved your account money with the following features:
- Stop out protection
- Negative balance protection
- Swap-free
You can select to see these benefits for specific trading accounts in the accounts dropdown menu.
Settings
The Settings tab houses a number of critical account management features. Click the link below to learn more about this Settings area:

Profile
Profile displays your registered personal information, including the verification status of your Exness account. Note these include your full name, registered region, and address (if entered). Your contact information is also displayed here, as well as any partner program changes (if applicable).
Note that your personal information cannot be manually changed; contact Support to update your personal information if required.
Security settings
Authorization includes your Exness account login information, with an option to change your account password. 2-step verification is your security type, which is the method by which certain account actions are confirmed. Follow the link to find out more about our security features.
Trading terminals
The default trading platform used by your trading accounts (when the Trade button is used in the My Accounts tab) can be set here. MT4 and MT5 based accounts will have their own selection to choose from.
Trading conditions
The status of specific trading conditions applied to your Exness account is shown here, including Negative Balance Protection, Stop Out Protection (if available), Zero Stop Levels (if available) and Swap-Free status (Extended or Standard).
Virtual Private Server
The Exness VPS service is housed here, where users can apply for a free VPS service if they fulfill certain requirements. Learn more about Exness VPS to find out how you can apply.
Exness Premier
Members of the Exness Premier program will have their tier status and information displayed in this area. For more information, follow the link to our article about the Exness Premier program.
Exness Assistant
The bottom right of the Personal Area will always display the Exness Assistant widget.
Click the speech icon to be helped by our always-ready chatbot, who can assist with many important tasks related to your Exness account, trading, transactions and more. You can also use the Exness Assistant to contact Support.
