There may be a variety of reasons that this sort of error presents itself, with some variation of the message ‘trade is disabled’, depending on whether you are using MT4 or MT5 and the reason for the error.
It is likely this error is caused by one of 2 scenarios:
Trading has been disabled for that particular account
Make sure you have completed your profile verification to avoid this from happening when attempting to place a trade. Full profile verification is an important step, as after some time unverified accounts are no longer able to trade, with the trading terminal displaying the error message in the Order window.
Follow the link to learn how to fully verify your Exness profile.
Trading has been disabled for the instrument you are placing the order on
When you attempt to trade with certain instruments that may be disabled, temporarily or permanently, it will show an error message in the Order window depending on whether it is MT4 or MT5:
- MT4 displays the error: “Trade: No”
- MT5 displays the error: “Trade: Disabled”
To confirm the specific instrument has been disabled, follow this link to check instrument availability. You can also try to trade with a different instrument to confirm that this is the reason for the error.
