HAR files may be required by Exness support when there are authentication issues. HAR (HTTP ARchive) is a format used to identify performance issues and page rendering problems.
We have put together a guide of how-to’s for all commonly used browsers to help you find HAR files with ease. Click on the browser you are using and follow the steps.
Google Chrome:
- Open Google Chrome and go to the Exness website or Personal Area.
- Click on the Customize and Control button at the top right side of the Google Chrome (shown as 3 dots).
- Click More Tools and select Developer Tools. Alternatively, you can press F12 on your keyboard.
- Select the Network tab.
- Replicate the actions where you previously faced a problem in order to record the error.
- Right-click in the area where the network records are shown and select Save all as HAR with content.
- Send the HAR file via email to our Support Team.
Important: If your browser opens a page in a new tab without opening the developer tools, you should still open the developer tools in the new tab.
Safari:
- Open Safari and go to the Exness website or Personal Area.
- If you have previously added the Develop option to your toolbar, skip to Step 4.
- To add Develop menu to your toolbar follow below steps:
a. Choose Safari (from Toolbar) > Preferences.
b. Select Advanced.
c. Enable ‘Show Develop menu in menu bar’.
- Click on Develop > Show JavaScript Console.
- Select Network tab.
- Replicate the actions where you previously faced a problem in order to record the error.
- Select the document from the list shown in the Network tab.
- Click the Export icon and save the file.
- Send the HAR file via email to our Support Team.
Mozilla Firefox:
- Open Mozilla Firefox and go to the Exness website or Personal Area.
- From the Menu options go to Tools > Web Developer > Toggle Tools.
- Select the Network tab.
- Replicate the actions where you previously faced a problem in order to record the error.
- Right-click in the area where the network records are shown and select Save all as HAR with content.
- Send the HAR file via email to our Support Team.
Microsoft Edge:
- Open Microsoft Edge and go to the Exness website or Personal Area.
- From the Menu options go to Tools > Developer > Developer Tools.
- Select the Network tab.
- Replicate the actions where you previously faced a problem in order to record the error.
- Right-click in the area where the network records are shown and select Save all as HAR with content.
- Send the HAR file via email to our Support Team.
