How is trading commission calculated for Raw Spread accounts?
A trading commission is applied to specific account types and is mainly based on the trading volume in both directions, such as opening and closing an order. Commission will be charged together when a position is opened.
For Raw Spread accounts, the trading commission has a rate of up to USD 3.5 per lot per direction for the vast majority of instruments. Follow this link to check the Contract Specifications of an instrument and its commission rate.
Here’s an example:
A trader opens a 1 lot position with GBPUSD. The commission charged will be USD 7 as USD 3.5 is the commission rate per lot and direction for Raw Spread accounts. No further commission is charged when closing the 1 lot position, as the full amount of USD 7 would’ve occurred at opening the position.
