About Zero account trading commission
Trading commission is applied to specific account types, mainly based on the trading volume and charged for each side (open and close) of an order action. The trading commission is charged at once when the order is opened.
For Zero accounts specifically, the trading commission starts at USD 0.2 for one side per lot, but varies by trading instrument. Follow this link to check the contract specifications of an instrument and its commission rate.
Here’s an example:
A trader opens a 1 lot position with GBPUSD. The commission charged will be USD 9 since the commission rate per lot is USD 4.5 per order action (open and close) for this trading instrument. Commission is not charged again when closing the 1 lot position as the full amount of USD 9 was charged when the order was opened.
