Account types are assigned a suffix which indicates which account type a trading instrument is being traded on within the trading platform.
For example: The suffix for instruments on Standard accounts is -m, so trading XAUUSD on a Standard account will display that instrument code as: XAUUSDm.
The suffix is added to an instrument’s code to easily identify which account type is being traded on at a glance, since specific trading conditions exist for available account types. If there is no suffix on an instrument, then Pro and Raw Spread account types can trade this instrument.
