If you are seeing this error, there could be two reasons why:
- The trade operation you are carrying out is not available: This could happen if you are trading from multiple devices and attempting to carry out an operation that has already been carried out on another device.
For example, if you have closed an order from your MT4 mobile app and are trying to close it from your desktop terminal you may see this error.
Solution: This error is happening because your trading terminals are not synchronized which may be due to poor internet connection. Log out of all open trading terminals and then log back into one of them again to solve this problem.
- The parameters are not allowed: This may happen if you are entering (either manually or by an EA) an incorrect value for a certain parameter.
For example, you may be entering an incorrect lot size as volume for placing trades on a certain account type.
