You may encounter the error of “Invalid Account” when accessing your trading account. There may be 3 reasons why this could happen.
Let’s look at why this error might be occurring and how you can solve it.
Incorrect login
You can find your account number in the Personal Area. Click My Accounts and the account number will be visible next to a MT5 or MT4 label along with a Real or Demo tag. Use this account number to log in.
Incorrect password
Ensure you use the correct Trading Password when you log in. If you have forgotten your password, you can change it in your Personal Area under My Accounts.
Click on the cog icon to the right-hand side of the account and choose Change Trading Password to create a new one. Use this new password to log in.
Incorrect server
You may be connected to the wrong server. Check which server your account uses in your Personal Area under My Accounts.
Click on the cog icon to the right-hand side of the account and it will list which server it uses For example: Exness-MT4Trial2 or mt4trial2.exness.com:443. Ensure you log in using the correct server.
