There are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to correct a “no connection” error:
Check your DNS settings: if there is a particular DNS set, instead of your operating system’s default, there is a possibility of it returning this error.
Check your IP settings: whether temporarily or otherwise, an IP unable to connect to the internet will return a “no connection” error; run a speedtest online to see if the issue lies with the VPS or your IP generally.
To solve both DNS and IP settings:For Windows 10
- Open the Start Menu, then type Network Connections.
- Choose your main network, then right-click and select Properties.
- Click on the option Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4), and then select Properties.
- Ensure that “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically” are selected.
These steps may vary depending on your operating system.
Verify your trading password: if a trading account password is incorrect, it will return a “no connection” error when using the trading terminal. Double-check that this is being input correctly.
