What is found in the Exness Trade performance tab?

The Performance tab provides a comprehensive overview of the trading activities on a single or all of your trading accounts. Scroll down or switch between tabs such as Profit/Loss, Equity, Total orders, and Trading volume to view specific performance statistics; you can also filter the data with time ranges or by trading account. 

The Performance tab includes trading statistics only for real trading accounts.

Profit/Loss, Equity, Total orders, and Trading volume

  1. Profit/Loss
    This is the total profits/losses on your trading account for all closed orders.
  2. Equity
    Equity is your account balance added to your open orders' floating profit/loss. It is calculated in this formula:
    1. Equity = Balance +/- Floating Profit/Loss + Swaps
  3. Total orders
    This is a record of the total number of filled or closed orders within a selected time range. This section shows the number of total orders, the change in the number of total orders in percentage, the number of profitable orders, and the number of unprofitable orders.
  4. Trading volume
    This shows the total value of all filled or closed orders in a selected time range.

All numbers for Profit/Loss, Equity, and Trading volume are calculated in USD except for the Total orders. In contrast, all numbers are in bar charts except for the Equity which is in a Line chart.

The performance tab shows all accounts' trading statistics over the previous seven days by default. It allows you to filter for a single or all real trading accounts and different time ranges (week, month, quarter, and year).

In addition, the Performance screen displays Trading statistics consisting of two important primary elements:

  • Aggregate data
  • Charts

In the table below, detailed explanations are given to help you understand and interpret the indicators and charts:

Aggregate data

   Data                                                                      Indicators
Profit/Loss
  • Net profit shows the change in profit of orders compared to the previous period of the same time range.
  • Loss shows the total negative profit of orders for the selected time range.
  • Profit shows the total positive profit of orders for a selected time range.
Equity change
  • Equity change shows the change in equity from the start to the present.
  • It shows the current Equity.
Total orders
  • Total orders show the change in the total number of orders created within a time range compared to the previous period of the same length.
  • Profitable orders indicate profit-making orders for a selected time range.
  • Non-profitable orders indicate non-profitable orders for a selected time range.
Trading volume
  • Trading volume in % shows the trading volume of orders for a selected time range compared to the previous period of the same time range.

 

Charts

Profit/Loss
  • The yellow bar chart column shows profit while the gray column shows the loss made over the selected time range.
  • The yellow shadow above indicates the account is in profit for the selected time range.
  • The gray shadow below indicates the account is in Loss for the selected time range.
  • If there is no shadow, there is no loss/profit in the selected time range.
Equity
  • The line chart represents equity for the selected account over a selected time range.
Total orders
  • The yellow bar chart column shows profitable orders while the gray column shows unprofitable orders over the selected time range.
  • The gray shadow above represents the total number of profitable and unprofitable orders over a selected time range.
Trading volume
  • The yellow bar chart column shows the total trading volume for a selected time range.

Below is a breakdown of how the changes in data are displayed in the charts with different time ranges.
