In some circumstances, we reserve the right to apply an administration fee on overnight orders based on a user’s trading activity. The trading conditions we offer are suited to users who primarily trade within the trading day and with minimal overnight orders. If your overall trading activity falls outside of this scope, administration fees may be applied immediately (including on existing open orders) in accordance with the terms of the Client Agreement (Part C, clause 2.5.) and (part E, clause 7.1).

How do I know administration fees apply?

This is communicated to you by registered email and/or as a Personal Area (PA) notification. You can also refer to Trading Conditions in your PA settings.

How long will administration fees apply after I am notified?

We may consider removing administration fees after a periodic review of your account. Rest assured any changes will be communicated to you.

Where can I see if administration fees are charged?

Administration fees are shown as balance operation(s) on trading platforms.

At what time is the administration fee charged?

Monday to Friday after 21:00 UTC+0 in US summer and after 22:00 UTC+0 in US winter.

Am I charged on orders I close before trading hours end that day?

No, only orders that are open overnight are subject to administration fees; overnight orders are those still open after 21:00 UTC+0 in the US summer and after 22:00 UTC+0 in the US winter.

Am I charged on orders that are less than 1 lot?

Any order less than 1 lot, 0.5 lot at 75 USD/lot for example, is charged based on that order’s volume: 37.50 USD for 0.5 lot.

Are orders charged separately?

No, all confirmed overnight lots for each trading account are combined for the administration fee, i.e 0.2 + 0.6 + 0.3 = 1.1 lots, which amounts to 82.5 USD (assuming 75 USD/lot).

What happens if my equity or balance is not enough to cover the administration fee?

Administration fees are limited to the balance available, and no trading account will fall into a negative balance because of the administration fee.

How can administration fees impact trading?

The administration fee is only applied to open orders/positions, but a charge may reduce available margin which can lead to stop out. Keep enough balance in your trading account to cover any possible administration fee, and any other charges that may apply.
