Standard Cent accounts offer the smallest trading volumes by cent lots (1 cent lot = 100,000 cents or 1,000 USD). Since a standard lot is 100,000 USD, 1 cent lot equals 1,000/100,000 = 0.01 standard lot. This is an advantage for beginner traders or traders looking to test new trading strategies with less risk.
Standard Cent balance is reflected in cents or any other available cent currency. For example, if you deposit 5 USD, your account balance will appear 500 USC (500 cents), not 5 USD.

Standard vs. Standard Cent
The clearest platform-level difference is in the symbols and balance units. Standard Cent instruments carry the -c suffix (e.g. EURUSDc) and are traded in cent lots, with the account balance shown in cent currency (e.g. USC) rather than standard currency units. A Standard account trades the unsuffixed symbol (e.g. EURUSD) in standard lots, with the balance shown in the account's base currency. When comparing conditions between the two account types, always check the symbol suffix first — it determines which lot size and balance unit apply.
