When a client registers a new Personal Area (PA), 2 trading accounts are automatically created; 1 Real Standard MT5 account and 1 Demo Standard MT5 account. Clients can use these 2 accounts to trade or create a new trading account based on their preferences. In this article, we explore how the two accounts differ and how you can best use them.
The purpose of real and demo accounts
Demo account
A demo account is perfect for a beginner client new to trading. As a first-time trader, you may hesitate to use real money as there is a risk of losing money on trades. This account allows you to try trading various instruments with virtual equity. The market conditions for demo accounts are more or less similar to real accounts, making them ideal for practicing your strategies. They are available for every account type except Standard Cent.
Once you have gained the confidence to trade using a Demo account, you can move on to a Real account.
Real account
A real account allows you to trade with real funds, creating real-time value after each trade is closed. Trading on a real account with Exness allows you to choose a variety of trading instruments available in the market.
