After registering and fully verifying your Exness account, you’re ready to begin trading in a few easy steps:
Make your first deposit
Your first-time deposit depends on your chosen account type: Standard or Professional.
- Log in to your Personal Area (PA).
- Head to the Deposit tab.
- Select your preferred payment method.
- Follow the prompts to make your first time deposit.
A “Trade is Disabled" error message will appear in the trading platform when opening an order before minimum deposit requirements are met.
Select a trading platform
These are the available trading platforms we offer and how to log in to them:
- Exness Trade app: Download the Exness Trade app and log in with your Exness account credentials.
- Exness Terminal: Log in to your Personal Area (PA) click on Trade on any active trading account, and select Exness Terminal.
- MetaTrader desktop platforms: Download and install MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 on your desktop device, and log in with your trading account credentials.
- MetaTrader mobile platforms: download and install MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 on your phone, then log in with your trading account credentials.
- WebTerminal: Sign in to the WebTerminal on our website with your trading account credentials.
- MT4 MultiTerminal: Download and install the MT4 MultiTerminal on your Windows desktop and log in with your trading account.
You can’t use a MT4 trading account on the MT5 trading platform, and vice versa. You cannot change the trading account compatibility after it is created.
Add your preferred trading instruments
Add any instruments you want to trade, including Forex, Commodities, Stocks, and Indices, to your chosen trading platform’s favorites for ease.
With Exness Terminal, add instruments in the search bar then select the instrument to bring up its chart.
On the Exness Trade app, head to the Trade tab and select your instrument from the displayed list of instruments, or enter the instrument on the search bar.

Calculate margin
Margin is the reserved amount needed to open and maintain a leveraged trading position. Ensure that you have enough funds in your account to open and maintain a trade.

Check trading hours
While trading is available 24/5*, knowing market trading hours, instrument trading hours, summer/winter trading hours, and daily breaks can make trading simple.
