In this article we will guide you through managing the following account settings:
Please note that it is not possible to change the following:
Specific to the Personal Area
- Personal Area email: You will need to register an entirely new Personal Area to set a different account email.
- Personal Information: You need to contact Support to request possible changes to your personal information; have your Support PIN handy to ensure promptness.
Specific to a trading account
- Trading account type: This cannot be changed once registered, but you can open a new trading account in your current Personal Area and choose a different account type for it.
- Trading account currency: You can open a new account and set that to a different account currency if you require a change.
- Trading account server: Servers are automatically assigned to a trading account when it is created and cannot be changed.
Let’s log in to your Personal Area to get started.
Leverage
- Choose My Accounts in your Personal Area.
- Click the gear icon on any of your trading accounts to bring up its settings.
- Select Change max leverage, then choose a leverage ratio from the dropdown menu. When done, click Set maximum leverage.
Your leverage is now set.
Custom leverage: you can set a custom leverage of your choosing by selecting Custom as the option from the dropdown menu in step 3 above. Existing limitations, terms and conditions apply.
Please note that if you choose a leverage setting that cannot be applied to your account type, it will revert to the last leverage setting that was allowed, or to a default 1:200 in some cases. - Choose My Accounts in your Personal Area.
- Click the gear icon on any of your trading accounts to bring up its settings.

Password requirements
All passwords must include:
- 8 to 15 characters
- Both uppercase and lowercase letters
- Combination of numbers, English letters, and special characters
Example: eH#z4@H9!
We strongly suggest you set up strong passwords to secure your Exness account, and never share any password with anyone. Support will never ask you to provide any password, and only the Support PIN is used for verification of account ownership.
Note: Passwords once set are not sent to your email for security reasons; do make note of them in a secure place once you have set them up.
If you have forgotten a password, check out our article on how to recover any of your Exness passwords.
