You can manage your trading account(s) settings, such as nickname or custom leverage, from the My accounts tab in your Personal Area (PA).
Here are some of trading account settings and preferences:
Change maximum leverage
The maximum leverage available depends on your trading account’s current leverage requirements (determined by its current equity). You are always able to choose any custom leverage below the maximum allowed for that trading account however.
Click the dropdown icon to expand the account card and view the leverage set on your account.
The maximum available leverage for clients registered with our Kenyan entity is 1:400.
To change leverage:
- Log in to your PA.
- Click the 3-dot icon next to your chosen trading account, and select Change max leverage.
- The dropdown will allow you to set your leverage from 1:2 to 1:Unlimited. You may also set custom leverage by selecting Custom.
- Continue and Confirm to set it up.
If you choose a leverage setting higher than the one available at the moment (due to account equity or higher margin requirements), the actual leverage applied to your positions will be lower that the maximum leverage set by you. You can check the actual leverage applied to your account in the PA.
