What is the default timezone set for MetaTrader?

MetaTrader trading platforms are set to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+0) .

The time zone set in MetaTrader cannot be changed as they are synchronized to the Exness trading servers.

How do I convert GMT time into my local time zone?

Enter the name of your current city, town, or country, including the phrase “time zone” into your preferred search engine (Google, Bing, etc). The search result will show a number with a plus or minus symbol, i.e. GMT+4 , GMT-5 , etc.
Adjust the hour by the number and symbol compared to GMT +0 .

Example 1 +

It is 8am in Thailand (GMT+7): therefore it will be 1am in GMT as Thailand is 7 hours ahead (GMT+7) of GMT time (GMT+0).

Example 2 +

It is 8am in Montevideo (GMT-3): therefore it is 11am in GMT as Uruguay is 3 behind (GMT-3) GMT time (GMT+0).
