It is highly recommended that you change your password regularly, and it is mandatory after you first receive Exness VPS access.
To set your password

- Log in to your Personal Area.
- Click Settings left-hand menu.
- Open the Virtual Private Server tab.
- Next to the Virtual Private Server header, confirm that Exness VPS is Online.
- Click Login.
- A pop-up displays your Exness VPS credentials ( VPS Address, VPS Login, and VPS Password).
- If you have already had your VPS password revealed, it will not be shown again; follow the link if you have forgotten your password.
- Follow the steps to connect to VPS depending on your device type (iOS or Windows). You must log into the virtual machine for the next step.
- Once logged into the virtual computer, click the Start (Windows icon) menu and click on the user avatar and select Change account settings.
- Click Sign-in options from the left-hand menu, then Change under the Password header.
- Enter in the current password, then click Next.
- Now enter your new password twice, and create an optional hint to help you remember it. Click Next to confirm the new password.
Your VPS password has now been set.

To reset your VPS password

- Log in to your Personal Area.
- Click Settings left-hand menu.
- Open the Virtual Private Server tab.
- Click the 3-dot icon (next to Reboot button) then select Reset Password.
- Confirm that you want to reset your password.
- Your VPS password will now be reset.
We highly recommend you set a new password after resetting a password, as a reset password is randomly generated and difficult to remember.
