It is not possible to manually change your registered name, but you can contact us to assist you in certain specific cases.
For newly registering clients, we will automatically update the name based on the identification documents submitted during verification.
Let us take a look at three scenarios related to name change:
Spelling mistakes
To request a minor correction in your name (up to 3 characters), you may raise a ticket through the support hub. We will reach out to verify you using your support PIN or security questions, before proceeding to make the changes.
Missing middle name
It is possible to request addition of middle name in case you have missed it out while registering your account. That being said, missing middle name does not qualify as a reason for payment rejections due to name mismatch.
If you would still like to have the middle name added, you may raise a ticket through the support hub. We will reach out to verify you using your support PIN or security questions, before proceeding to make the changes.
Legal name changes
If you have had any legal change in name, it is recommended to contact us to have the same reflected on our end. To do so, raise a ticket through the support hub and have the following handy:
- Your full legal name
- A legal document confirming the change (e.g. name change certificate or marriage certificate)
- You may be asked to provide answers to some security questions related to your account
- Support PIN (as provided by support)
- The reason for the name change
- New or updated proof of identity documentation
Your registered name will be updated to match the legal name shown on the proof of identity document.
It is prohibited to trade on any Exness account not registered under your full legal name. Registering an Exness account on behalf of someone else or under an alias is strictly not permitted.
