You may add, remove, or edit registered phone numbers from your Personal Area (PA). The phone number provided during account registration is set as the primary phone number associated with that Exness account by default.
Adding a new phone number
Adding a new phone number for the first time will change that phone number to the active security type.
- Log into your PA.
- Expand Settings, select Security settings then Change under 2-step Verification.
- Choose New phone number and confirm with Next.
- Enter the new phone number and select Send me a code.
- Verify your account with your current security type.
- Once verified successfully, the phone number will be added and set as your new security type.
Withdrawals are disabled for 24 hours after a security type is changed.
Some payment methods requiring additional verification may be blocked after a phone number change; select Get support in the Transaction History tab of your PA to open a ticket to reverify that payment method.
There is a daily limit of 5 new phone number requests. The total number of phone numbers added to an Exness account is unlimited, as the limit is applied to daily requests (successful or otherwise). No limit exists for the amount of phone numbers that can be registered to your Exness account in total.
It is not possible to remove or delete any phone number used to register an Exness account, or added as an active security type. It is also not possible to change these numbers to one active in a country outside of your registered country.

Replacing a lost phone number
You can reset your security type to email directly from your Personal Area without contacting support. This option is available if you have lost access to your registered phone number or mobile device. Face scan verification is required to complete the reset.
