About CFD stocks
Stocks refer to units that represent part ownership of a corporation, divided into shares. These shares are collectively referred to as “stock”. Value can be derived per unit of stock from an appraisal of the company they represent, with the value constantly fluctuating.
Trading CFDs on stocks products does not involve owning the underlying stock but, as is true with any contracts for difference trading, only the value difference between the open and close of an order is being traded on.
Trading CFDs on stocks does not make the trader eligible to receive dividends from the stock issuing company as they do not own the stock.
Take note that stocks present unique contract specifications, detailed below.
