Exness offers CFDs on spot prices of the instruments, allowing you to trade the price movements without owning the underlying assets. These trades have no expiration date, but overnight swap fees may apply.
Instruments are split into symbol groups based on trading account types. Foreign exchange always pairs a base currency with a quote currency, e.g. GBPUSD, and includes major, minor, and exotic pairs.

Finding an instrument in the platform
In MT4 and MT5, use the Market Watch panel's search field to look up an instrument by name or symbol. In the Exness Terminal, use the instrument search bar to find and add instruments to your watchlist.
If an instrument doesn't appear:
- Check that it's enabled in your Market Watch symbol list (right-click Market Watch → Symbols, or use "Show all")
- Confirm the instrument is available for your account type, as symbol groups differ by account
- Confirm the instrument isn't in a scheduled weekly break or maintenance window
- Contact Exness support if the instrument still doesn't appear after checking the above
