Applying to terminate your Exness Personal Area (PA) is a permanent action. Before you proceed, please note that most account issues can be resolved without termination.
Once a Personal Area is terminated, the same email address cannot be used to open a new account.

Pre-termination checklist
If you have decided to proceed with full account closure, you must ensure the following conditions are met to avoid your request being rejected:
- Zero balance: Withdraw all remaining funds in your account.
- Close positions: Ensure there are no active trades or pending orders on any of your trading accounts.
- Legal review: Please read Section 10 (Termination) of the Client Agreement, available in the footer of your Personal Area.
How to terminate your Personal Area
Your termination method depends on your current verification status:
Method 1: self-termination (before KYC Completion)
If you have not yet submitted your personal information (KYC) following email/phone verification, you can close your account immediately:
- Log in to your Personal Area (Web) or the Exness Trade App.
- Proceed to [Settings] - Security (Web) or [Profile] - Settings (App).
- Select Terminate Exness Personal Area
Method 2: manual termination (after KYC Completion)
If your account has already passed verification, a formal written notice is required for security and regulatory compliance.
Follow these steps to terminate (delete) your Exness Personal Area (PA):
- You must first withdraw your funds and close all open and pending orders of all trading accounts with your Personal Area (PA).
- Submit a written notice at least five (5) calendar days from the desired termination date to support@exness.com using the account holder’s registered email address. The email should include the following details:
- Trading account number(s)
- Reason for termination

Please read the Client Agreement (PART A, Section 10, titled “Termination”) for an in-depth look at our provisions; the Client Agreement is available in the footer of your Personal Area.
Exness PA account termination requests made through phone call services are not considered written notice. -
Once the notice is received, you will receive an email within five (5) calendar days regarding the termination date and a verification call to confirm the request. The email also contains details of the rules that apply to the Exness Personal Area (PA) account once deleted.
If you wish for your Exness Personal Area (PA) account to be terminated sooner than five (5) calendar days, you may indicate this in your termination request, but this is at the company’s discretion. -
On the day of termination, you will receive an email confirmation that your Exness Personal Area (PA) account has been terminated. Any funds remaining in your account will have been refunded to you already.
If the funds remaining in your trading accounts are less than the minimum withdrawal permissible by the payment systems used in the past, please inform us about an alternative method to send the funds to you.
During the termination of an Exness Personal Area (PA)
After applying to delete your Exness Personal Area (PA), consider the following:
- You will no longer be able to access trading platforms with the terminated trading account(s), and functionality will be limited.
- You will not be able to open new orders.
- The company reserves the right to:
- Reject withdrawals and keep your funds as necessary to close opened positions and/or pay your pending obligations under the Client Agreement (footer of PA).
- Combine your trading account(s) to consolidate and offset the balances in those accounts.
- Convert any currency.
- Close all accounts maintained with us in your name.
