An Exness account needs to be fully verified before all trading functions are made active and deposit limits are completely lifted. The primary reasons the Exness account verification process is important include:
Security
Account security is an essential part of the account verification process. Verification helps mitigate the risk of unauthorized individuals using your identity or funds to make trades. Knowing that only the account holder has access and the ability to make trades ensures your financial security and agency are supported.
Financial Regulations
A strict verification process is required for us to remain compliant and regulated. Exness operates through different entities that are authorised and regulated in various jurisdictions. Regulatory bodies provide you with the peace of mind that we are a legitimate operation that takes steps to protect and uphold our commitment to due process and the law.
Improving Service
Accurate data is essential for understanding your needs and improving services. For example, if many traders start to register from a certain region of the world, we can see this from registration data and begin to improve our support offering in that region by providing content in local languages new payment systems available in this region. This is made possible only by the accurate data provided through the account verification process.
As per the Exness Service Agreement:
Client information kept by the Company is treated as confidential and will not be used for any purpose other than in connection with the provision, administration, and improvement of the Services for research, statistical, or marketing purposes.
This ensures your privacy is protected, and data will never be disclosed to third parties outside of Exness.
Who performs the verification of submitted documents?
Document verification is conducted by a specialized team of experts bound by non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to protect the confidentiality of your data.
Unverified account limitations:
- Exness accounts with a registered email address and/or phone number and personal information have a low deposit limit across all trading accounts.
- Exness accounts with the above, a completed economic profile, and a valid proof of identity (POI) document still have a deposit limit as before, but more can be deposited than previously.
- Exness accounts with all of the above, and a valid proof of address (POA) document accepted are fully verified with no deposit limitations (other than what is possible based on the payment method chosen).
- Some regions disable deposits altogether until the Exness account is fully verified.
Please note that some registered regions restrict all trading until the Exness account is fully verified; visit your Personal Area (PA) to confirm current trading restrictions.
