Why did this happen?
If you are seeing this error on your MetaTrader platform, it could mean the following:
- The trade operation you are carrying out is not available
This could happen if you are trading from multiple devices and attempting to carry out an operation that has already been carried out on another device. For example, you may see this error if you have closed an order from your MT4 mobile app and tried to close it from your desktop terminal.
- The parameters are not allowed
This may happen if you manually enter an incorrect value for a certain parameter or through Expert Advisors (EA). For example, you may have entered an incorrect trading volume when placing trades on a certain account type.
How to solve this error?
- To synchronize your trading terminals, log out of all open trading terminals and log back into each one again to solve connection issues.
- Check your EA settings to ensure they are set per each account type's limitations to avoid errors.
