This error occurs when a trader attempts to open a trade but does not have enough funds to cover its costs. 

How to solve this error?

There are cases where the spread, or costs associated with an order, fluctuate dynamically with time. You can wait until a favorable price movement appears before trying the order again.

Other troubleshooting steps include:

• Decreasing position trading volume to decrease trading costs
• Increasing leverage to decrease margin
• Depositing to increase your free margin

Other useful tips:

• Check the economic calendar for high-importance news to identify which trading instruments will have high-margin requirements. You will also receive an email with the list of instruments affected every day by the MT4/5 desktop terminals.
• Set up a pending order  with your desired price. The order will be opened later with a tighter spread, leading to lower spread costs.
