Warning signs
- You see logins or actions you do not recognize.
- Your security method, phone number, or authentication device changed.
- You receive OTP codes you did not request.
- Your Personal Area (PA) details or transactions changed without your approval.
Secure your account now
If you believe your account may be compromised, take these steps immediately.
1) Verify your security settings (Personal Area)
- Log in to your Personal Area (PA).
- Go to Settings and select Security settings.
- Check your security method, including your phone number(s) or authentication device.
- If you do not recognize the listed phone number or authentication device, contact support.
2) Change your passwords (Personal Area and trading accounts)
Personal Area (PA) password
- Go to Settings, then Security settings.
- Select Change password.
- Create a strong password you have not used elsewhere.
Trading account password(s)
- Go to My Accounts.
- Select the 3-dot (⋮) menu next to the trading account.
- Select Change trading password.
- Create a unique password and follow the on-screen requirements.
3) Log out from other devices
- After changing your password, log in again.
- Go to Settings, choose Security settings.
- Select Log out from other devices to end active sessions on other devices.
4) Secure your email and devices
- Change your email password and review your email security activity (recent logins and devices).
- If you used the same password anywhere else, change it there too.
- Run a security scan on all devices you use with up-to-date antivirus or anti-malware software.
- Remove suspicious apps, browser extensions, or unofficial software.
5) Contact support
Open a ticket in the support hub if any of the following apply:
- You do not recognize the security method, phone number, or authentication device on your account.
- You cannot regain access after completing the steps above.
- You shared sensitive information (password, OTP/verification codes, or Support PIN).
- Suspicious activity continues after you secure your account.
- You notice changes in your Personal Area (PA) that you did not make (security settings, account details, or unexpected transactions).
