Ensuring the safety of your Exness account and the financial security of your trading accounts are our top priorities.
Good practices to prevent unauthorized activities on your account:
- Don’t leave your desktop or mobile device unattended with an open Personal Area (PA). Lock the screen or log out of the PA.
- Never ask anyone to create an Exness PA using your name.
- Never share your personal identity documents like ID card, passport, etc with anyone.
- Keep your digit verification codes and support PIN private from everyone.
- Do not transfer your funds to an unknown person’s bank account, payment card, wallet, crypto address, or other means of receiving funds.
- Do not transfer your funds to an unknown person’s bank account or payment system.
- Never open links from unknown sources; if the link looks suspicious, do not open it at all, even to verify that it is suspicious, as the link itself is often dangerous.
- Do not share the mobile phone number and email that you use to obtain the digit verification code with others.
- Use only your mobile phone number, device, and email to obtain the digit verification codes.
- Never share your passwords with anyone. We urge you to always be cautious when requesting a password or links to change it.
Fraudsters can seem professional and appear official, even using Exness branding (logos and slogans) to appear legitimate.
If you have any suspicions that you may be a victim of fraudulent activity, we encourage you to open a ticket in the Support Hub so we can assist you.
How do I know if I am being targeted?
You will occasionally receive communication from Exness representatives. Still, they will never contact you via text, email, or social media to ask for your account security or personal identity information, such as your registered email address or trading passwords. If you receive an unexpected message from us, you can use these tips to decide whether or not it is legitimate or contact us directly.
In a text message, email, or social media, we will never:
- Send you a link to a website and ask you to provide sensitive information (like your account or trading password).
- Offer any financial offers or investment opportunities.
If someone contacts you claiming to be from Exness:
- Using the information above, determine the legitimacy of the message. If the message is a scam, block the number or email address and delete the message.
- Leave any non-official Exness channels on Telegram, WhatsApp, or any messenger and social networks.
- If you receive an unexpected call from someone claiming to work for Exness asking you to provide personal and sensitive information or click on a link in a text, hang up the phone and block the number.
- If you have already shared sensitive information, such as your account registered email address or trading password, please change this password immediately.
- If you are still unsure about the legitimacy of a message or an incoming call, end the call and contact our Support team; we will never stop you from being careful.
What can I do to avoid being a victim of fraud?
Most importantly, don’t respond to personal or account security information requests. Always be suspicious of such requests, especially spontaneous requests.
Texts, emails, or social media messages, including messages sent through communication channels such as Telegram, can look like they are coming from Exness.
